Dr. Jim McKerrow spoke at the December 8th Ledden Memorial Luncheon. His talk on drug development for neglected tropical diseases and Ebola was very well received. One participant called it “the best talk in years."
The Faculty Luncheon series initiated in years past by the late Muir Provost Patrick Ledden and continued in his memory. These luncheons provide an opportunity for faculty to meet each other across disciplines and departmental boundaries in a convivial environment, to share ideas and learn from our faculty colleagues about scholarly activities outside our own circumscribed areas of expertise. Many faculty members remark that these lunches provide one of the best opportunities available on campus to meet colleagues from other disciplines, as well as to hear discussions on topics of current interest.
